B. PRIME THE FMS VUE SYSTEM:

C. CONNECT INTERMEDIARY TUBING WITH ONE-WAY VALVE:

STERILE OPERATOR: Pass the one-way valve(blue end) to the nonsterile operator.

1 NONSTERILE OPERATOR: Immediately connect the inflow tubing below fill chamber.

2 Prime the intermediary tube by opening the clamp under the fill chamber.

1 Lift the door and position green autolock component in green autolock slot on the pump. Centre tubing around the roller and engage the tube fitting opposite autolock.

2 Close door and connect the pressure sensor quick connect tube to CPC port. Position fill chamber in the fill chamber bracket.

1 Pierce saline bags, open tubing’s white clampsand press the Run/Stop pad to activate pump.

2 Press and hold Blue Fill Chamber button until salinereaches the warning label on the fill chamber.

D. CONNECT OUTFLOW TUBING FOR INFLOW OUTFLOW MODE (DEFAULT MODE)

1 NONSTERILE OPERATOR: Turn pinch valve lever vertically. Lift the door and position orange autolock component in orange autolock slot on the pump. Centre tubing around the roller and engage the centre tube fitting opposite autolock.

2 Slide shaver and outflow tubing limbs into pinch valve slots. Turn the pinch valve lever horizontal.

STERILE OPERATOR: Pass only the tubing end labeled waste to the nonsterile operator.

WARNING: Initial pressure settings are based on experience and should be used only as guidelines.The surgeon is responsible for setting pressures appropriate to the surgical procedure.
