Entry Requirements a) Possess at least an SPM, MCE, SPVM or equivalent certificate with 2
years experience in Occupational Safety and Health; OR b) Possess at least SPM (Open Certificate) with the following conditions
with 2 years experience in Occupational Safety and Health: - Sit for at least six (6) subjects; AND - Obtain at least grade 6C in Bahasa Melayu AND English AND
Mathematic; AND - Pass at least one (1) subject with at least grade 8E for subjects
Science OR Physics OR Chemistry OR Biology; AND - Pass other subjects such that the total number of subjects is at

Completed registration form, faxed, mailed or e-mailed to FMM Institute would be deemed as confirmed. There will be no refund or cancellation within 2 days prior to the programme, 50% refund for cancellation between 3 – 6 days and full refund for cancellation 7 days prior to the programme. However, replacement can be accepted at no additional cost. The FMM Institute reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the above programme and all efforts will be taken to inform participants of the changes. Introduction In line with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and its Regulations to ensure a competent person is employed to act as a Safety and Health Officer at the place of work, the FMM Certificate in Safety and Health Officer represents a unique effort of FMM Institute to produce a pool of qualified safety officer for the industry towards the prevention and reduction of occupational accidents and diseases in the country. Course Objective The course is designed to meet the following objectives: � Provide in-depth professional knowledge and skills for sound
and effective Occupational Safety and Health management practices;
� Enhance the legal knowledge pertaining to Occupational Safety and Health and be acquainted with necessary know-how and techniques for performing various Occupational Safety and Health within an organisation;
� Create opportunities for career advancement and development in Occupational Safety and Health within an organisation
Certification Participants are required to meet 80% attendance to qualify to sit for FMM Institute internal examination. Participants who have attended at least 80% of the programme will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance and those who pass the internal examination of this programme will be awarded the FMM Certificate in Safety and Health Officer. Course Fees FMM Members (SBL Scheme) - RM3,700.00 per participant Others (SBL Scheme) - RM4,000.00 per participant *Fees include course materials, refreshments and FMM Institute certificate. However, it does NOT include NIOSH Examination Fees.
