3.Findafourthand fifth sheetof chipboard and trim both to 12” x 8”. Witha pencil and ruler, draw a line 2” from the left and right sides of both sheets. Score

alongthelinesusingabonefolderandruler.Saveoneoftheleftover12”x4”piecesforstep20.

4.The12”x8”chipboardsheets will be the top and bottom of your box. Foldthe score lines on each sheet and adhere the sides so that you have an 8” x 8” box.

5. Take a sixth sheet ofchipboard and cut a 115 ⁄8” x 115 ⁄8” square. Thiswillbe your box’s tray. Witha pencil and ruler, draw a line 17 ⁄8” from the top, bottom, left and right sides. Score along thelines using a bone folder andruler.

6.Leftscoreline:cut17 ⁄8” from the top of the sheet and 17 ⁄8”fromthebottom.Right score line: cut 17 ⁄8” from the top of the sheet and 17 ⁄8”fromthebottom.

7. Take 115 ⁄8” square and fold allfouredgesup.Fold the tabs in and adhere so they are on the inside of your tray. Your traywill measure about7¾”x7¾”.

8.LocateasheetofMemorable, floralside up, and trim a 12” x 8” piece from the bottom of the page. (Thetwobigredflowerbunches should be in this piece.)From this piece, score at 2” from the left and 17 ⁄8” fromtheright.

9.Takeleftover12”x 4” Memorable paper and trim a 77 ⁄8” x 4” piece from the left side of thepaper.(Thebeeshould be in this piece.) Then, trimthis piece into two 77 ⁄8 x 17 ⁄8” pieces.

10.Froma secondMemorable paper trim a 12” x 8” piece from the top of the page.(There should be only one big red flowerbunchinthephoto.) Take thispiece and score at 2” from the left and 17 ⁄8”fromtheright.




11. Take leftover12” x 4” piece from step 10 and trim 2” off the left and 2” off the right so that you have an8”x4”piece.

12.Withyour8”x4”Memorable paper, trim 1½” off the bottomsothatitmatchesthephoto.(Thebluebutterflyshould be in the final piece.) Your piece will nowmeasure8”x2½”.Taketwo8”x2½”chipboardpiecesfromstep2andgluethemtogetherintoonepiece.GlueMemorablepieceontop.

13. From a sheet ofIridescent paper, black side up, and cut one 8” x12” piece. From thispiece, trim one 8” x 7” piece.Savetheleftover8”x5”pieceforstep20.

14. Find the secondsheet of Iridescent, black side up and cut one 4” x 12” piece.From this piece, cut one 4” x 6” piece and two 4” x 3” pieces.Cut leftover 8” x 12” piece into one 8” x 7” piece and two 77 ⁄8” x 17 ⁄8”pieces.

15. From a sheetof Serendipitous paper, beetle side up, cut one 12” x 75 ⁄8” piece. Fromthis piece, cut two 17 ⁄8” x 75 ⁄8” pieces and one 75 ⁄8” x 75 ⁄8” square. Withleftover 12” x 43 ⁄8” piece, cut two 75 ⁄8” x 17 ⁄8”pieces.

16. Locate Flutter paper, blue side up, and cut into four 6”x6”squares.

17.TakeGlorious paper, pink side up, andrepeatstep16.

18.TakeVivacious, yellow side up, and repeatstep16.

19.TakeDazzling, pinkfloralsideup,and fussy cut the twobiggestflowerbunches.




20. Locate the stickersin the photo. To give thestickers extra dimension, peel backing and attach them to leftover chipboard from step 3. Cut thestickers out. Locate 8”x 5” Iridescent paper.Adhere “Flutter” sticker to the kaleidoscope side of the paper, then cut the sticker out again. (The

back of the sticker should have the black design.)

21. Take the 12” x 8”Memorable paper from step 10 and fold along score lines, adhere to the bottom of your box andsides.Take12”x8”Memorable paper from step 8 (with the two big red flower bunches)and adhere to the top of your box and sides.

22.Adhere8”x2½” Memorable piece onto the top of your box, about 1½” from thefrontedge.

23.TheDrawer: (The sides thathave tabswill be thefrontandback.)Adhere77 ⁄8” x 17 ⁄8” Memorable pieces tothefrontandback.Attachthemetaldoorpulltothemiddle of the front side using a paper piercer or 1 ⁄8” hole–punchandincludedbrads.Adhere77 ⁄8” x 17 ⁄8” Iridescent pieces,blacksideup,totheleftandrightsides.

24. Adhere theSerendipitous papers to the inside bottom and sides of your tray. Then, inserttray into your box.

25.Find4”x12” chipboard.Scoreat3” and9”.Foldalongscorelinestocreatethebaseofyoureasel.(Below)

26.Adheretwo4”x3”and4”x6”Iridescent papers, blacksideup,ontothechipboardeasel.(Youmayneedtotrimthepapers.)Adherethebottom4”x3”sectionoftheeaselontoyourbox,about½”fromthebackedge.

27.Adhere“OhHappyDay” large ephemera card to the back 4” x 6” section of your easelbase.Locatethe8” x 7” chipboard, cover both sides with 8” x 7” Iridescent paper, black side up.Adhere the top of the easel base about 1” from the top of the largechipboardpiece.




28. Adhere the “Flutter” chipboard sticker about ½”to¾” above the top center of your easel.Attach pinkcorner stickers and yellow, blue, and pink stamp stickers.Adherelargefussycutflowerbunchtotheleftedge.Attachsmallerflowerbunchwithfoamadhesivetotherightedge.Adhereotherchipboardstickerfromstep20tothetopofyourbox.

29. Lay the six 6” x 6”chipboard squares out into two rows of three.Cover the chipboard with the papers shown. Toprow, left to right: January, February,March.Bottomrow:April,May,June.

30.Place adhesiveunder the left andbottomsides oflarge ephemera cards. Attach to left side of paper,creating pockets. Insert a small ephemera card intoeachpocket.(Saveonesmallephemeracardwithblueborderforotherproject.)Addstickersasshown.

31. Flip the templatesover to their reverse sides. Cover thechipboard with papers shown. Top row, left toright: November, October, September. Bottom row:August,July,December.

32. Place adhesive under the left, right, and bottomsidesoflargeephemeracards.Attachtothebottomofthe paper, creating pockets. Insert a small ephemeracardintoeachpocket.Addamatchingstickerontop.

33.Print out theminicalendar months.Separate the months and insert them into their corresponding ephemerapockets.Tie36” pink ribbon around the 6” x 6” calendar templates that are not being displayed and storeinsideyourbox.

34. Decorate the top of yourbinder clip with one of the border stickers. You will usethis binder clip to attach the current month’s mini calendar ontoitsmatching6”x6”base.

3. Take Exquisite paper and cut off black bee border.Trim off the grey border around it and cut a 4” long strip.Thencutoutsquare bee image, keeping the grey borderaroundit.

4. Take the scoredVivacious paper and fold at the 6” score line, then again at the 9” scoreline.Adhere3¾”x 5¾” Dazzling paper, blue stripe side, to the 4” x 6” section of the Vivacious paper. Placedry adhesive on the top 4”widex3”section.

Directions: 1. Froma sheet ofVivacious paper, butterfly design faceup, and trim a 4” wide x 12” tallpiece.Scoreat6”and9”.

2.FindDazzlingpaper,pinkfloralside up, and cut a 4” x 12” strip fromthe leftsideofyourpaper.Cut a 4” x 5½” piece from this strip. Then trim the remaining4”x6½”tallpieceto3¾”x5¾”.

8. Place metal doorpull at the bottom center of your notepad base. Takea pencil and mark where the holes will beinyourdoorpull.Punch holes, add door pull, and insert bradstofasten.

9. Locate a stickynote pad. Discardthe bottom sheet from your sticky note pad. Then,attach sticky note pad to paper so that it’s flush againstthedoorpull.

10.Trimtheyellowborder sticker to 4” and adhere to the back of the easel to covermetalbrads.

5. Locate the smallephemera card with blue border and adhere to 4” x 5½” Dazzling paper, pink side up, so that ¼” of the ephemera is above the paper.Adhere“Busyasa bee” border ½” from thebottom.

6. Take ribbon and tiea bow, then adhere to the top of the small ephemeracard.Attachbee image and sticker withfoamadhesive.

7. Attach 4” x 5½” Dazzling paper to the 4” x 3” section of yellow Vivacious paper, so that the bottom of the Dazzling paper is flushwith the bottomoftheyellowpaper.
