Just fray the edge around the outside of the stitching line. You can also stitch the designs without the appliqué fabric

making this pack a great choice. Try stitching some designs with patches and others without for even more versatility!

1. Adhere two layers of OESD Ultra Clean & Tear Stabilizer together with HRFive™ Temporary Spray Adhesive. 2. Spray the top of the stabilizer and adhere to the wrong side of the fabric (or garment) for embroidery. 3. Hoop the three layers as one and attach the hoop to the machine. 4. Cut a rectangle of fabric for the appliqué approxi mately 4 ½” x 6”. Note: Choose fabrics that are loosely woven. Cut a square of fabric and pull the threads to check the ease of the fabric to unravel.

5. Very lightly spray the wrong side of the appliqué fabric using HRFive™ Temporary Spray Adhesive. See Photo 1 6. Place the appliqué fabric right side up in the center of the hooped fabric or garment.7. Embroider the design of your choice. See Photo 28. Remove the hoop from the machine and the fabric from the hoop.9. Tear the stabilizer away from the back one layer at a time.10. Trim the excess fabric from the outside of the stitching line leaving about ½” on each side of the design.11. Fray the edges of the fabric outside the stitching line of the design. See Photo 3
