A HUGE thanks to you, the Pinecrest family, for your love offerings and tithes in the I BELIEVE IN PINECREST emphasis. We were able to pay all our bills and put over $5,000 back in savings plus over $3,000 towards the new heat/AC for Pinecrest Hall to be installed in October. Keep up the generous giving and do it with a smile.

“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to

make all grace abound toward you, that you, always have all suffi-ciency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

You may use the special offering envelopes with a hand on it. Thanks for giving a hand to Pinecrest as we give a hand to others.

UNIFIED WORSHIP SUNDAYS IN AUGUST

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1

For the purpose of bringing the whole church together in unity of purpose and worship.

For the purpose of giving time for the later worship service to regroup for praise and worship hour with additional instrumentalists, upgraded music.

For the purpose of having an upbeat, inspirational, soul lifting, God glorifying service where the whole church at one time comes together for unity through praise.

Ephesians 4:2-6: “...endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as

you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and

through all, and in you all.” COMMITMENT FOR UNITY Because I believe in the unity of the church, I will support the SUMMER UNIFIED WORSHIP SERVICE. I Understand it may cause some inconvenience for me and my group, but I am willing to do my part to bring the whole church together for four Sundays of Worship (August 3 through August 24 ending with the Anchormen in Celebration of Unity service on the 31st with dinner on the grounds. The unique format would be: 9:00 am - Fellowship time in Pinecrest Hall 9:30-10:30 am - Unified Worship 10:45-11:45 am - Bible Study and personal application (Sunday School) So far supported by the Music Committee, Church Council, Deacons, staff, consensus of majority at Quarterly Business Meeting.
