Flourish and Grow

Psalm 92:12-15 (RSV) The righteous flourish like the palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the

house of the LORD, they flourish in the courts of our God.

They still bring forth fruit in old age, they are ever full of sap and green, to show that the LORD is upright, he is

my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

As the trunk forms the body of the tree, the new will of God controls, the earthly body, so that the New Creature can

grow and mature.

The promise, “if ye do these things, you will never fall” should be a great stimulus to our hope, of being transformed to the

image of God’s dear son.
