by connecting teachers to students, students to students, and students to curriculum. A significant
portion of the session will be devoted for participants to get comfortable using the technology tools of flipped learning. Note, this session is designed for anybody
interested in Flipped Learning. No previous experience necessary.

Jon Bergmann used to enjoy being the center of the classroom. However, he gave that up after seeing his students become more engaged when he flipped his classroom. He has literally written the books on Flipped Learning with seven titles to date, including the bestseller Flip Your Classroom: Reach Every Student in Every Class Every Day. In 2002 he received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching, and in 2010 he was named a Colorado Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalist. In addition to hosting "The Flip Side," a radio show that tells the stories of Flipped educators, Jon also serves on the advisory board of TED Education
