Release Notes Version 1.6 Assess

All current year objectives will be displayed when assessing earlier years, rather than only

those where the ‘From Year’ had been altered.

Results

Pie and Bar charts alter when views 3 and 4 are selected, and display the percentage not

assessed.

The breadcrumb for each table has been replaced with a title. The title displays the selected

criteria. You can click on the blue table label, e.g. ‘Table A’ or anywhere in the table heading

area to go to the Selection Criteria.

The title for the comparison table describes only the difference between the two tables. The

comparison table always now always shows all rows, and is positioned below table B.

Sorting any of the columns now happens straight away, without a call to the database.

Subjects, Aspects and Objectives are shown in the tables in your school’s custom order – if

you have set one.

Figure 5 - Simplified Selection Criteria

Thresholds and sorting have been removed from the Selection criteria to give a cleaner feel.

Figure 6 - Revised threshold display - showing thresholds at additional scores

The green threshold area has been revised to facilitate showing thresholds at additional

scores to the key score and above. To display additional thresholds, set a default value in

General Settings, greater than zero. You can change the value of the threshold by clicking on

the column heading, e.g. ‘78% Secure +’. When you drill down to see the details of students

achieving given thresholds, the display has been revised, with filtering and column ordering.

The detailed view now shows the time stamp and user by default. There is also an option to

see the history of any assessments made for a given student / objective. The history shows

the last assessment on a given date, and therefore not showing changes during the day.

Saved Criteria

The date options have been simplified and take account of assessed years.

General Settings

The layout of the General Settings page has been altered, with a specific option to say

whether scores One or Five are being used.

There are default Threshold percentages for each of the scores, where the percentage refers

to that score and above. A ‘0’ means the threshold doesn’t apply or show.

The green threshold bars would normally show when you are using views 1 or 2, and the table

is grouped by Subject, Aspect or Objective. With the Show Threshold option you can choose

to only show the ‘In Each and every’ option for example, or inhibit them completely if you

don’t find them relevant.
