The FLI Telegraph pole provides the opportunity to place smaller structures, ideal for micro sites, into Greenfield locations with minimal aesthetic impact.

The pole is a CHS tube up to 16.5M, with paintedeffect, mimicking the colour and graining of a treated timber telegraph pole. This simple design offers you a quick, cost effective solution to difficult sites, and is ideal for all Greenfield areas and on streetwork sites.

The Telegraph pole can also be supplied with a CHS root foundation to minimise the size of the foundation.

We can install studs for Latchway removable climbing rings, or brackets to support a Metreel removable ladder if required.

FLI have a large selection of parallel structures designed for guyed mast applications. These include the Unimast products with their fully welded construction, integral climbing rungs, each 3m long section is light enough to be carried and capable of reaching heights of 85m. The FLI series ranges from the FL85 to the FL250 with 2.5m wide and 7m long sections capable of being installed to a height of 300m.

Though guyed masts are not common due to the large amount of land required, they are the most cost effective way to support equipment at height.

Our radar towers have been installed all over the world, including the UK, Europe, Africa, South America, South East Asia and the Middle East. This has involved designing highly stressed structures for climates varying from Tromso in Norway, which is well inside the Arctic Circle, El Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean and Harare in Zimbabwe. The deflection limits on these types of structures are very low and the radar loads are high. Hence the frame of the cabin is a major structural element, transferring the radar loads to the tower.

 Specification

· Height: 5m - 30m, in 5m increments.· Site specific heights available.· Suitable for primary and secondary radar antenna.· Radome interface options.· Waveguide support.· High level equipment enclosures.· Lightning finials according to specification.
