Research pointed out that information workers spend 35 percent of their time attending meetings. By providing every worker the same tools for organizing meetings, the process of scheduling meetings, attending meeting, and the follow up of a meeting becomes a more transparent process. This makes attending meetings more predictable, and workers can find information about meetings faster and easier. By providing tools to people that support organizing and conducting meetings, organizations reportedly have achieved more professionalism (keep promises and hold accountable) and more transparency (what are meetings about and where to find information).

How many times a week do you accept a meeting request with a shake of your head thinking, "Not another meeting!" Perhaps there are too many meetings. Most likely, however, there are too many meetings that make little sense or that end without definite action steps. Knowing how to design a meeting to achieve a desired outcome can help you lead meetings that inspire great work. This scenario helps you to organize effective meetings. First you start by thinking of the goal of the meeting, next you invite attendees and create a meeting workspace on a centralized location. All invited attendees can add agenda items and upload relevant information. During the meeting, decisions, tasks and notes are recorded directly in the meeting workspace. Attendees can use alerts to receive automated messages when anything changes in the workspace. This is how you and you colleagues can have more transparent and effective meetings!
