BMW Motorrad Financial Services offers you a choice of motorcycle finance options to help you ride a new or used BMW. At every BMW Motorrad Centre, you’ll find a finance specialist who can talk you through the options we can provide. These will depend on whether you want to own the motorcycle at the end of the agreement or simply hire it. The differences will be explained to you to help you decide.

Once you’ve chosen the finance package that suits you and your budget, we’ll do the rest. From paperwork and phone calls to delivery arrangements, we’ll handle all the details and do everything to get you out on the open road as soon as possible.

BMW SELECT.

DEPOSIT FIXED REGULAR PAYMENTS OPTIONAL FINAL PAYMENT(GUARANTEED FUTURE VALUE)

BMW Select, our personal contract purchase product, is our most popular motorcycle finance product for both new and approved used motorcycles. This is because of its key feature, which we call the Guaranteed Future Value (GFV). BMW Select is flexible because it allows you to defer a proportion of the motorcycle’s total value until the end of the agreement as an optional final payment. This amount is the GFV and is the key to how BMW Select works.

MORE BMW FOR YOUR MONEY.

As you are deferring a proportion of the motorcycle’s value until the end of the agreement, your monthly payments could be less than you think. This may give you the flexibility to add more options to your motorcycle, or even upgrade to a higher specification model, all within

your budget. Or you can simply pay less a month for the motorcycle you want, compared to Hire Purchase, our alternative product offering vehicle ownership at the end of the agreement (although the total amount payable for ownership may be higher).

Terms and conditions. * The optional final payment together with an option to purchase fee is payable at the end of the agreement if you decide to purchase the motorcycle. We remain

the owner of the motorcycle during the agreement and we may become entitled to recover the motorcycle if you do not keep up with your repayments.** If you part exchange the motorcycle for a new one, any surplus in the motorcycle’s part exchange value over the optional final payment (and option to purchase

fee) can be used as a deposit towards a new motorcycle.*** Alternatively, you can hand the motorcycle back to us without paying the optional final payment or option to purchase fee. Additional charges may be payable

for both excess mileage (actual mileage higher than agreed contract mileage) and motorcycle condition (using the standards set by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association). If your agreement is regulated by the Consumer Credit Act, this contractual option will be in addition to your statutory right to end the agreement early.

HOW IT WORKS.

Simply choose a BMW you like and we’ll arrange a finance package that suits you, taking into consideration the contract length (anything from 24 to 60 months), an estimation of your annual mileage and your deposit. Whether you have a monthly payment or particular deposit in mind, we can tailor a repayment plan to suit your budget and lifestyle.

The importance of the GFV is that it lets you keep your options open at the end of your agreement. Your decision will be based on the future value of the motorcycle, which is why it’s important to accurately estimate your mileage. When you come to change your motorcycle next time you have the flexibility to select from one of the following options:

• Pay the optional final payment and own your motorcycle*

• Part exchange your motorcycle and choose another one**

• Hand the motorcycle back***

In both the first two options, if the market value of your motorcycle is more than what we predicted for you in the GFV, you get the benefit.

If the market value is lower than the GFV we anticipated at the beginning of your agreement, you can return the motorcycle to us with nothing further to pay other than any excess mileage or damage charges.

If you’re interested in owning a new or used BMW at the end of your finance agreement and making fixed regular payments with no mileage restrictions, BMW Hire Purchase could be the finance solution for you.

We can tailor a personal plan to suit your circumstances based on your available deposit, how much you would like to pay monthly and how long you would like the agreement to last (anything from 24 to 60 months). The purchase price of your motorcycle, less the deposit you wish to put in, becomes the balance on your agreement. Any interest and fees are then added to the balance and the total is repaid monthly. Once all payments have been made at the end of the agreement, you own your BMW.*

BMW CONTRACT HIRE.

Once you’ve chosen a BMW motorcycle, decide how long you would like your agreement to last (between 24 and 48 months) and what your estimated annual mileage will be.With that agreed, we then work out your initial andongoing monthly rentals.At the end of your agreement simply hand your motorcycle back and, as long as you have stayed within your mileage allowance and your motorcycle has been looked after, you’ll have nothing more to pay.* The best bit is you can then start all over again with a brand new BMW motorcycle.
