Flanged Seam DescriptionFlexible Duct Connectors are used to eliminate ductsystem noises and vibrations for industrial and commercialapplications.

The Basic use is to isolate the vibration and noises to thesource with an air tight flexible joint consisting of a fabricfastened to steel metal on both sides.The flexible connector is fixed between the A/C equipmentor fan and the ductwork.

Various cloth types, cloth widths and steel widthsare available in order to meet most of the installation

requirements at job sites.

The double flanged seam gives an exceptional strengthto the connection between steel and fabric. The aboveseam is used in all our duct connectors.

General Notes:Make sure that the notched side faces outward and that the position of the joint is not at the corner.

At a noch, cut a length equivalentto the perimeter plus 5 to 6 cm.

Lift the seam outward to a right angle.

Make a cut at the edge ofthe lifted seam section

Bend down the seam whilst ensuring thatthe cloth remains fastened

Coat the cloth with its appropriate adhesive Join both sides by adhesive and or stitching

Press together firmly Spotweld the steel.
