TheFlaxCouncilofCanadarecentlyparticipatedinhostingaKoreandelegationinCanadatoproduceafilmandnewspaperarticlefeaturingCanadianFlaxseed.Onekeycomponentofthefilmofcoursewastocaptureharvestactivitywhichwassomewhatofachallengeinaveryshorttimeline.However,onOctober1st,theweathercooperatedandthegroupwasfortunatetocapturesomegreatfootageofaflaxharvestinArborg,Manitoba.

ThegroupalsovisitedaprocessingplantwhichprovidedanotherkeyelementintheirfilminginademonstrationofhowflaxispreparedinCanadaforshipmenttovariousdestinationsthroughouttheWorld.SouthKoreahasbecomeanimportantmarketforCanadianflaxwithimportslastyearup477%primarilyduetothegrowingawarenessofthehealthandnutritionalbenefitsofflax.

FlaxinSouthKoreahasbecomewidelyknownasa‘SuperFood’.
