On Friday April 8, 2011 Flat Stanley attended the Palm Beach Gardens Relay for Life. Stanley even did a few laps with Team Scott in the Fight Against Cancer!!

Flat Stanley goes to TurtleFest! April 9, 2011

On Saturday April 9, 2011 the Loggerhead Marine Life Center held it’s annual TurtleFest. Prior to the event Madison was entered into and won the opportunity to participate in the “Vet for the Day” program. Flat Stanley got to come along for the fun!

Flat Stanley even got to hang out with local celebrity Jason “J-Bird” Pennington from the Wild 95.5 Morning Show!!

On April 12, 2011 Stanley took a trip with Mrs. Thompson to Allamanda Elementary School. During story time, Mrs. Thompson’s class was read the Flat Stanley book then he got to come out and visit! What fun Stanley had with all the girls and boys. He hopes to be able to do it again soon!

As we all know, April 22 is Earth Day. Stanley and the Scott Family decided to join the Great American Clean-up. Everyone got a T-Shirt for participating!

Flat Stanley at the Sweet Corn Festival

Sunday April 17, 2011 was the annual Sweet Corn Fiesta held at the South Florida Fair Grounds. It was VERY hot but we had a great day eating corn and riding rides. On the way home mom stopped and got us pasta for dinner! It was a good day.

Easter with the Family!

For Easter Sunday Stanley and our family went to Riverbend Park in Jupiter Florida. We had a lovely day together hunting Easter eggs, playing on our bicycles, canoeing, and picnicking! Stanley was exhausted by the time we got him home!

Flat Stanley visits Atlanta

with the American Cancer Society

• Stanley had the opportunity to take a trip to Atlanta and visit the National Leadership Conference of the American Cancer Society. Only the nations brightest and best are chosen to attend. Stanley was truly a hit!

Atlanta Airport FUNand well wishes.

The trip to Atlanta wasn’t all work for Stanley! The Atlanta airport was the place to be! Stanley did a little shopping, got a bite to eat, and even wished the departing troops well on their upcoming flight to Afghanistan.

The Flight Home . . .

After all the fun and games in the airport, Stanley made it on the flight. After reading all the safety information he was able to relax and look at the amazing view from his window seat.
