Chairman’s Welcome

Welcome to the Duffield CC FixtureBook for the 2015 Season. For the second year running we are distributing ourfixture booklet throughout the village to let you allknow what is happening this summer at Duffield CC.

League games commence on the 18th April andcontinue until mid-September. We also have a busyjunior programme resulting in Cricket being played onmost days throughout the season.

Last year the 1st X1 was very much in the promotionrace right up the end of the season but unfortunatelyjust missing out. We hope to be every bit ascompetitive this year and put up a serious challengefor promotion to the ECB Premier league.

Outside of the actual Cricket our ambition to becomea real hub of the community. Please feel free to comedown and support the teams and even join us a guestfor a drink at a venue that has been described as thebest beer garden in Derbyshire!

As a voluntary organisation we are always looking foradditional help across a range of activities so if youwould like to get involved with a vibrant organisation,and make new friends in the village please do get intouch.
