from previous customers or ask someone you know who has online shopping experience to ensure if your destination site is a trusted website.

Save Any Evidence of Transaction• Proof of electronic payments such as confirmation e-

mails, SMS and others can help to record and track the history of your transaction.• Can also be used as strong evidence if there is a dispute

with the seller in the future.

Protect Your Credit Card• Even after transaction has taken place, it is possible to prevent

and stop hackers from using your credit card. Here’s how:

Set up SMS notifications to receive any transaction updates. If anything seems fishy, contact your bank’s customer service to confirm your suspicions and to block the transaction from getting approved.

Use a One-Time Password, which is sent your personal mobile phone after each transaction. It adds a layer of security.

Limit your credit card threshold. Transactions surpassing your set limit will not be processed.

Check your credit card statements. If you find a transaction you had no knowledge of, contact your customer service immediately.
