Fitzroy Island Resort features several stunning ceremony areas including Welcome Bay Beach, our lush tropical resort garden, or for something a litt le more inti mate – one of Queensland’s most photographed beaches, Nudey Beach. Select your style of wedding recepti on with an array of venues including Welcome Bay Room, Foxy’s Bar & Grill and the a la carte Restaurant Zephyr, all of which provide a marvellous view of Welcome Bay and the Coral Sea. Located within a tropical remote island surrounding, Fitzroy Island Resort creates their menus from only the freshest ingredients from local suppliers. Our qualifi ed kitchen brigade will cater to your needs and are ready to make your tastebuds dance with various styles of menus including an alternate drop set menu, buff et menu, canapés and platt er menus. OUR GIFT TO YOU – To get you into the island lifestyle, you will receive complimentary transfers to and from the island on our own Fitzroy Island Fast Cat, as well as a complimentary night’s stay in an Ocean Suite including a bott le of Australian Sparkling Wine upon arrival (applies to bride and groom only).

All ceremonies include a rehearsal, wet weather alternati ve, crowd control whilst ceremony is taking place and a dedicated wedding coordinator to assist in the planning stages and to be by your side on your big day to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

A secluded, peaceful beach that can be reached via an adventuring rainforest nature walk or on our private glass bott om boat. Nudey Beach is the perfect locati on for an inti mate, beach style wedding of up to 35 guests.From $800

Your MenuOur Executi ve Chef has designed the menus to compliment the island and its climate. Not only this, but we use only the freshest local produce grown in Far North Queensland. Here at Fitzroy Island Resort we are very relaxed and fl exible, meaning that if you have something specifi c you would like served we will try our upmost to incorporate it into your menu

Accommodation Continued...Two Bedroom Suite:Consists of an Ocean Suite and a Resort Studio with a shared entrance to each room. Sleeps 4 to 6 guests – Rate is based on 4 guests sharing; additi onal 2 guests can sleep on a sofa bed, at an additi onal charge of $35 per person per night. Please note that these rooms are not interconnecti ng, but have two doors with separate locks opening from a shared entrance room that is not lockable. As such, this room type may not be suitable for families with small children.

Butt erfl y Bungalow:These 3 star bungalows are set amongst the rainforest and are located near the campground and close to the Welcome Bay Beach. Features include a mini bar fridge, microwave, kett le and toaster, an outdoor deck area with setti ng, Esky and Webber BBQ. Plates, cutlery and basic cooking items are available plus BBQ utensils. Maximum 2 Adults & 3 Children.

4 Bedroom Penthouse: The Penthouse boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this apartment is truly the jewel in the crown of Fitzroy Island Resorts accommodati on.The Penthouse features, spacious living, dining, and kitchen. The living area has access to the large outdoor balcony with magnifi cent views over Welcome Bay.The luxurious master bedroom features a King Size Bed, integrated marble bathroom with a 2 person spa bath and balcony access. The 2nd bedroom features a King Bed or Twin Bed Confi gurati on and the 3rd & 4th bedrooms feature Queen Beds. Features include a fi ll kitchen with dishwasher and laundry. Fitzroy Island is a tropical paradise of rainforest and coral beaches within the calm sheltered waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The walking tracks through the rainforest, up to the summit and to the lighthouse off er fabulous views over the Coral Se and the Great Barrier Reef. Located only 29 km off the coast of Cairns, the island is located within a listed Nati onal Park and one Resort. A leisurely 45 minutes by Fast Cat, Fitzroy Island Resort off ers guests the opportunity to inti mately discover the magic and diversity of the Great Barrier Reef from land and sea, making it the perfect accessible base for snorkelling, diving and exploring the reef and rainforest. The island has long been enjoyed by the Cairns locals along with visitors from all over the world. Flying into Cairns:

Flights into Cairns Internati onal Airport are serviced by all leading airlines, with most off ering a direct fl ight from all major citi es daily. Please make sure you check Fast Cat departure ti mes before booking your fl ights to ensure they connect with one another. Transfers:

Transfers via Fitzroy Island Resort Fast Cat are available from Marlin Wharf, Cairns Marina. Pre-bookings are essenti al, please contact the Resort direct.
