Fixing free edges of flashings
All flashings should be secured againstthe risk of wind lift. Position fixingclips at between 300-500mm centresdepending upon the degree of exposureto wind.
Clips should be made from quarterhard copper, 0.6mm thick, ternecoated or stainless steel 0.38mmthick. Turn the clips over by at least25mm.
X = For moderate to severe exposures additional fixings shouldbe positioned at not more than 75mm from the free edge.Secure clips with copper nails.
