This month, we’re rolling our (welcome) yoga mats! Get to know our three new yoga instructors – Loisann Openshaw, Natasha Simplicio and Bob Stevenson – as they help you find your flow. They’ve got your asana covered with om-mazing classes like Beyond Barre, Yoga Flow, Gentle Yoga and more. Each week you’ll strike a pose and discover a combination of physical and mental benefits. From reducing stress and tension to improving mental well-being to connecting deeply to self and surroundings, yoga has the power to calm and strengthen the body. The best part is you don’t have to be a yogi or yogini to reap the benefits – it’s perfect for every age and skill set. Check out June’s Group X Calendar and “om” your way to wellness. BEYOND BARRE DROP-IN More than just a Barre workout, Beyond Barre fuses ballet, core strengthening exercises and cardio. Go beyond the basic ballet-inspired workout to burn fat, sculpt your body and build long, lean muscles. The total body workout incorporates Pilates mat work and ballet barre exercises. Fee: TRC rates apply (included in TRC passes) 16 yrs+ M 5:30-6:30 p.m. YOGA FLOW DROP-IN Ground yourself on your mat and let us guide you through an athletic, full body and mind conditioning yoga class. Both physically and mentally challenging this class is made up of equal parts of strength, flexibility and focus. You’ll transition through a series of quick-paced sequenced poses, connecting breathing with intentional fluid movements.
