Celebrates 25 Years By Unique Insurance

Introduction

• Awarded an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, Unique Insurance works with independent agents to provide automobile insurance. Unique Insurance is also a community advocate that supports the Fisher House Foundation.

In 2015, the Fisher House Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary in Washington, DC. The organization hosted a Celebratory Gala to commemorate its service to military families worldwide. In addition to sponsors, such as United Health Foundation and Fisher Brothers, the event welcomed donors, staff members, and families who have benefited from Fisher House to celebrate the occasion.

Fisher House Foundation

• Since its inception, the organization has operated comfort homes, known as Fisher Houses, so loved ones can stay nearby as their soldier or veteran receives medical treatment. Its 65 homes have served more than 250,000 families, saving them in excess of $282 million. In addition, the foundation launched Hero Miles, a program that brings family members to the bedside of injured service members through frequent-flier mile donations. As of September 15, 2015, the program has provided more than 58,000 airline tickets.
