Challenges:

• High DSO, past-due A/R

• Contacting all customers at

risk of becoming past due

• Unable to proactively

monitor risk

• Lack of visibility to customer

information

• Manual, time-intensive

processes

Without predictive analytics, up to 70% of early

collection calls go to accounts who would pay

without a reminder. Target the 30% that are actually

at risk with GETPAID.

For many companies using ERP systems or manual processes, collections

management can be cumbersome causing low productivity and reactive

treatment of accounts receivable. Often, collectors cannot readily access

information, and are overwhelmed with administrative tasks; working from

printed reports, without a strategic approach – thereby creating inconsistent

results.

The FIS Receivables GETPAID solution offers companies an integrated suite of

order-to-cash management software with the unique ability to combine

collections, dispute resolution, credit risk management and cash application

with an online customer portal.

Risk-based collections: Leveraging payment behavior for

collections prioritization.

With up to 70% of early collection calls going to accounts who would have paid

without a reminder, it is likely that your collectors are spending too much time

calling the wrong people. The use of predictive analytics allows you to focus

your collection efforts on the 30% that are at risk to pay beyond their terms or

go delinquent.

Receivables Strategic Collections Management

Instead of using the traditional method of contacting customers based on an ageing report or customer segmentation,

organizations are able to accelerate collections by identifying high risk customers and then placing those customers

on a high touch “call” collections strategy. This best in class and proprietary scoring model is specifically calibrated to

your business environment to ensure the highest level of predictability. This risk score is the key component used to

drive highly impactful collections prioritization

GETPAID helps companies do this by using statistical-based risk models that look at your own experiences with each

customer in order to create a monthly risk score. This method offers a higher level of accuracy versus using credit

reference agency data that is traditionally intended for new account decisions, not ongoing collections management.

Even if and when the appropriate data from a credit reference agency data is used, it is not solely based on the

customer’s payment experience with you but rather the average of all companies providing trade data to the credit

reference agency data – data that is not necessarily relevant to your relationship with the customer and mostly likely

not as current as your own experiences.

Automation and workflow

For many companies using ERP systems or manual processes, collections management can be cumbersome causing

low productivity and reactive treatment of accounts receivable. Often, collectors cannot readily access information,

and are overwhelmed with administrative tasks; working from printed reports and multiple systems, without a strategic

approach – thereby creating inconsistent results. The GETPAID solution dramatically increases the amount of time

that collectors can spend contacting customers and ensures that the time is used productively through the automation

of processes and the use of approved work queues based on configurable strategies.

Using customer segmentation and a strategic rules engine, GETPAID groups customers by configurable variables

such as risk grade, geography, or balance due - and applies a specific collection strategy. Strategies are configurable

courses of action that initiate specific events as an invoice ages. Each strategy can consist of an unlimited number of

steps, each triggered the previous contact activity. The engine uses the strategies to send mass correspondence and

build work queues with prioritization. Strategy steps can be used to send automated reminder and past due notices,

notify sales of delinquent accounts, and place calls in the collector’s work queue.

Risk Services: Detailed risk data shows risk score

and probability of going bad, along with cash at risk.

Cash at Risk: The Collections Activities screen

provides a central and detailed view of your account

in a single screen.

GETPAID allows companies to develop an unlimited number of collection strategies and strategy steps. Customers

can be automatically shifted to the appropriate strategy based on fluctuations in risk grade for improved management

of accounts receivable risk.

Collection work queue: Single screen access to customer information GETPAID places all necessary customer, invoice, dispute and credit information on a single screen. Users can quickly

view information such as payment history, proof-of-delivery documents, ageing, and cash applied. From the single

“Power Screen” users can also enter notes, create payment plans, mark promises to pay, match credits, generate

disputes, send invoice copies and correspondence such as confirmations directly from their desktop with a single

click.

Integrated approach to order-to-cash management

FIS allows companies to deploy a single cloud based, end-to-end solution to manage credit risk, collections, dispute

resolution and cash application with associated analysis and reporting. By using a fully integrated solution, companies

can leverage data and resources to optimize performance and reduce costs. With an integrated solution, users can

manage details and collaborate in real-time with customers, sales, and customer service.

Follow Up To Do: Your collectors will see a Daily

Follow-Up screen showing their list of daily goals and

activities prioritized by collections risk.

Credit Summary: The Credit Summary screen

includes analysis of your balances according to risk

grade based on predictive analytics scores.
