How to Make a PowerPoint Presentation

Slide Design and Title Page Slide Design

Click ‘Format’ Click ‘Slide Design’ Choose a design template (on the right side of the screen )

Title Page Type a title and your name on the

first slide in the text boxes

Add a New Slide

Right click on the mouse under your last slide on the left side of the screen.

Click ‘New Slide’

Type Text

Type a ‘title’ in the text box on the top of the slide

Type information in text box below the title.

Change Style/Size of Font

Select font style from ‘drop down menu’ (i.e. Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana, etc.)

Select font size from ‘drop down menu’ (i.e. 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, etc.)

Bold (B), Italics (I), Underline (U)

Change Color of Font

Click on ‘Font Color’ on the bottom or top of the screen. (A)

Select a color

ClipArt

Add pictures to your slide show!! Click ‘Insert Clipart’ on the bottom of

the screen. Type a word in the ‘search box’

(i.e. ‘Soccer’, ‘School’, ‘Home’)

Left-Click on a picture

Click the ‘WordArt’ button on the bottom of the screen. (A)

Select a WordArt Style Type text in textbox Select font style/size
