Nursery The staffed, early childhood nursery is in Room 3 of the Education Wing. The unstaffed infant nursery is in the back of the sanctuary. Volunteers in the nursery are: Today - Melinda Hasegawa; September 16 - Melinda Hasegawa; September 23 - Deborah Lyons. Next Sunday Morning at FMC Next Sunday morning Bob Yoder from our seminary in Elkhart, Indiana, Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, will be bringing the morning message. His theme will have to do with lament and change. These Changing Times During the Sundays of Fall in our early service, our worship services will include some thinking about change and transformation. As individuals, as a congregation, and in our world we regularly encounter change and we entertain the possibility of transformation. Sometimes we are open to change, sometimes we are resistant. The new may be ultimately for the good but then too, perhaps there are good reasons to guard misgivings. May the Spirit guide us as we contemplate these things during the Fall. Choir Practice There will be no rehearsals on September 12th and 19th. Rehearsals will resume on September 26. MCC Auction The Board for the West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale would like to invite you to the Annual Meeting this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the Reedley MB Church Social Hall. A light dinner will be served at no charge. All are encouraged to attend as there will be elections of officers and the opportunity to discuss various aspects of the West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale. The Korean Peninsula, Peacemaking on the Peninsula, Anabaptist Faith, and More In the coming weeks we have opportunity to learn more about the history of the Korean peninsula, current peacemaking efforts and more. On September 14 Hyun and Sue Hur of Reconciliasian will be speaking at the Reedley Peace Center. On Sunday evening, September 16, they will share again at a Mennonite Peacemakers event in Fresno.

On Friday evening, September 21, Jenny Diebert, MCC’s representative to North Korea while based in Seoul, will speak at the Peace Center. On Sunday morning, September 23, Jenny will share during the Sunday School hour with all who are interested.
