Our in-house design service means we are

able to work with architects’ drawings to

create a bespoke fitness facility, meeting

tight deadlines and a variety of budgets.

Through our partnerships with several of the

world’s leading manufacturers, including Life

Fitness, Star Trac and Technogym, we are

able to offer excellent value for money on a

wide range of fitness equipment. We also have

close partnerships with numerous suppliers

covering areas of a fitness project; lockers,

flooring, lighting and sanitary equipment. From

private homes to large-scale developments, we

are committed to delivering the finest bespoke

health and fitness solutions throughout the

UK and Europe.

Our fitness training consultancy is tailored

to an individual’s specific requirements and

encompasses all areas of fitness including

exercise, nutrition, injury rehabilitation and

sports specific training for all ages. As a

unique and energising experience, it guarantees

effective and efficient use of your exercise time

to achieve your goals, keeping you motivated

and, more importantly, on target.

We have fitness studios in London and

Leeds and also take our services to clients’

homes and businesses in surrounding areas.

We work with many schools, providing a

comprehensive portfolio of curricular and

extra-curricular sports programmes run

by our team of fully-qualified,

DBS police-checked coaches.

Through constant monitoring and assessment

of all children and coaches, we ensure that

sessions are delivered to the highest of

standards at all times.

Our team of coaches also deliver children’s

activity parties, holiday camps and

private coaching.

motive8 CSR There are a number of charity events that we support each year, which include The Asics British London 10K and Great North Run, where our team raises funds for Traidcraft and various education projects in partnership with Food Nation. Members of the team have also participated in some endurance cyclosportives such as the Broadgate Estates CYCLE TO MIPIM, which finishes up in Cannes just in time for the start of the annual international property show. As well as raising money for good causes, it doubles up as a great opportunity to showcase the motive8 offering to potential developers. A five strong team also competed in both the NSPCC Tour of Yorkshire and NSPCC Tour of the South East, with the Yorkshire route shadowing many of the roads ridden by the Tour de France competitors just a few days earlier.

To encourage equality and maximum participation in each of the motive8 schools, we offer some free curricular provision for targeted groups and free places for those that cannot afford to pay for extra-curricular clubs. We donate prizes for school and community events on a regular basis. It is important that any fundraising or support projects are closely aligned with motive8’s desire to help build a fit and healthy community or fight for equality in deprived communities. Strong environmental messages are communicated within the company. There is a strict recycling policy and our energy and travel efficiency has been studied in detail.

GYM & SPA DESIGN• motive8 has fitted in excess of

120 health and fitness facilities across the UK.

• Projects include everything from bespoke home gyms and corporate facilities to large scale, fully-staffed, managed residential facilities.

• motive8 works as a consultant to several major architects, offering design and planning advice to ensure the most efficient use of space and layout of equipment.

• motive8 currently holds 91 maintenance contracts, providing quarterly servicing of equipment to correct faults and ensure longevity of equipment.

• motive8 has three of its very own state-of-the-art personal training studios in West London and Leeds showcasing all the latest equipment and offering a first-class workout environment

for clients.

TRAINING• motive8 delivers over 200 gym

induction sessions per month to users, ensuring they are educated on the equipment and can achieve maximum benefit from their facility.

• motive8 conducts over 600 personal training sessions each month, with a large, experienced team of trainers offering a complete lifestyle solution.

• In addition to our qualified personal training staff, we also have a number of Sports Therapists and Rehabilitation professionals who treat all kinds of sports-related injuries and problems.

• Our personal training service covers London, Middlesex, Surrey, Bournemouth, Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds.

COACHING• The motive8 schools team delivers

over 80 curricular and extra-curricular primary school sports sessions per week.

• Team of 22 Coaches. All Lead Coaches are Level 2 qualified and DBS-checked and are encouraged to continue with internal and external CPD throughout their time with the company.

• Coaches not only maximise children’s activity during sessions but encourage them to have a positive experience of and lifelong participation in sport.

• motive8 works closely with local colleges and universities in order to support apprenticeships, diplomas and other work-based learning placements.

• The motive8 coaching team has delivered the Sport Leaders UK Young Leaders Award to over 300 primary school children.

MOTIVE8 ETHOS• motive8 is owned and managed by one of its original founders, Nick Sadler. Sarah Cleland-Smith, one of the first full-time employees, is also co-owner and Co-Director.

• Our coaches communicate our messages to children in their early years in primary schools reaching out to teachers and parents. Our trainers work one-to-one or with small groups of adults whilst our gym design team work within the corporate world.
