Firmware upgrade guide for 79XX, 23XXSE, 23XXME, 2316ME, 24XXMD, 25XXHE. The firmware upgrade will fix the following bugs. 1. The internet viewing disconnecting issue, 2. Black berry not able to connect over the 3G/WiFi issue, 3. Ability to connect your DVRs to our NEW FREE DDNS server. NOTE: Please write down the IP address, subnet, gateway, DNS numbers on the network information before you upgrade the DVR. Once the DVR has been upgraded, all the network information will reset back to default. 1. Find the firmware from our website Go to our website www.ltsnj.com Click on DVR system,

2. After you click on DVR system, select Stand Alone DVR

3. Press Ctrl F, then type in your DVR’s model, type in the DVR’s model number For this example, we will use 2304SE.

4. Click on the picture or “More info” You should see the firmware upgrade link. Don’t unzip it, just save it on the thumb drive/flash drive. Save it in the root directory.

5. After you have saved the .tar file into your thumb drive, go to the DVR. Under Main menu, you will see the Upgrade icon, click on it.

7. Select the Firmware file on the USB thumb drive.

8. Click OK, then the DVR will reboot itself.

9. When you see this message, let the DVR reboots itself.

Do not power off the dvr, and do not take the USB/flash drive out.

10. The DVR will reboot itself about 3 times, and then you will see the startup wizard. At this point, then it is safe to unplug the USB thumb drive out.

11. Notice the H.264 icon on the DVR screen. Once you have seen the H.264 DVR icon, then you have upgrade the DVR successfully.

Notice you will hear a constant beeping noise. You can disable it by going to the setup/alarm/alarm out/buzzer. Once you have disable it, click on apply. The buzzer noise will go away.
