ARA PAC is our voice on Capitol Hill. Your Firm Partner dues ensure NAPA’s ideas and philosophies are heard, and that the private retirement plan industry is protected by advocating for public policy to expand and enhance access to retirement plans.

Your members have the opportunity to work directly with NAPA’s Government Affairs Committee (GAC). GAC represents NAPA in communications with the United States Executive Branch, Congress, and government agencies in shaping the retirement industry and protecting our members. We work tirelessly to help businesses of all types implement retirement plans and make it easier for Americans to save for a secure retirement.

Your member advisors may participate in NAPA’s annual Fly-In Forum, where the top retirement plan advisors in the country represent their plan clients and explain to lawmakers the industry’s core contributions to American workers’ efforts to save for retirement.

ADVOCACY BENEFITS

BD and RIA Firm Partner members who approve the use of CPFATM receive complimentary unlimited distribution of NAPA’s Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFATM) training modules. In-depth, fiduciary-focused content is presented in a self-paced, interactive, online, modular and case study-based format. Advisors complete the program with a deep understanding of fiduciary roles & responsibilities and ERISA plan and investment management. Advisors must register and pass an exam to earn the CPFATM credential. All of your CPFATM designated advisors receive access to a complimentary quarterly CE webcast.

Firm Partner members receive complimentary access to NAPA’s 401(k) Practice Builder. Designed by our BD and RIA Firm Partners, NAPA’s 401(k) Practice Builder sales training program is designed for the emerging plan advisor. The program is self-paced, takes less than three hours to complete, and is approved for CFP© credit.

Firm Partner members receive complimentary access to NAPA’s newest educational program, the ESG(k) Certificate. Advisors will gain fluency in ESG principles, strategies, and screening. They will also gain insight into common questions and concerns, what questions to ask in assessing ESG investments, and how to talk about the benefits and risks of ESG investments for retirement plans.

Firm Partner members receive complimentary access to the Nonqualified Plan Advisor Certificate online program. Advisors who go through the program learn how to design, implement, and manage nonqualified plans.

Complimentary periodic, educational webcasts are provided to NAPA advisor members by our provider Firm Partners.
