In order to improve the enterprise management level, we attained ISO9001: 2008 accreditation - the International Standardization of Quality Management System - and also IS014001:2004 and ISO18001:2001.

FIRETEC is a speciality OEM / ODM Fire-rated downlight division in partnership with Vertex Lighting and Electrical Co. Ltd. - established since June 2000.

With over 100 staff in facilities covering a total area of 5600m2, FIRETEC has a sales network covering more than thirty major international locations,

carving out a presence in both domestic and overseas markets, with clients in Europe, Asia, USA, South America and India.

Ventilation slots in the side wall of the downlight allow maximum heat dissipation even when covered with thermal insulation material. Firehoods and fireguard boxes are not necessary.

Ceiling systems are required to meet certain hourly fire ratings, typically made of fire rated board to avoid flame spreading in the event of fire.

The cutout hole required in the ceiling board for recessed downlights completely voids the fire rating of the structure.

Standard recessed downlights are inadequate to re-establish the fire rating of the ceiling after the hole has been cut.

FIRETEC’s comprehensive range of fire rated downlights include NEW Generation models featuring ventilation to allow the fitting to breathe and increase lamp life, as well as being coverable by double layers of insulation.

Available in pressed or cast material in multiple finishes as well as fixed, adjustable and IP variants.

There is a FIRETEC downlight suitable for all applications, meeting the requirements of EN60598-1/-2.

The fire rated downlight is designed to automatically seal the ventilating slots in the event of fire.

It is equipped with a smart device: An intumescent disk forms a dense carbon char which shuts off heat ventilating slots so that fire cannot reach the next floor through the downlight.

This could be the difference between life and death for people in the building.

All our downlights meet European and American fire rating standards, and are tested at the internationally recognised Warrington Fire, in the UK and UL in the USA.

Compliant with BS476 part 21, 22, 23, & UL 263 standards.
