This printable includes the scans of the sketches used to create the Fire�y Halloween Costume.I apologize that they’re “rough” and hand drawn. I’m not a pattern maker, but I thought mysketches may be helpful to you as you make a similar costume for your own child. BACK PACK -- You’ll need four copies of this page:Copy 1 - Cut the full oval.Copy 2 - Cut the bottom half of the oval up to the TOP horizontal line. Copy 3 - Cut the top half of the oval up to the BOTTOM horizontal line. Copy 4 - Cut the full oval, then turn it into a long vertical strip - this will be the front of the backpack where you attach the wings.

LIGHTNING POUCH -- This is the butt of the bug where you’ll put the holiday lights. You’ll need to cut two pieces of silver irridescent fabric to the outer line of the pouch.

LOWER WINGS -- You’ll need to cut FOUR pieces of irridescent fabric to make the lower wings.

UPPER WINGS -- You’ll need to cut FOUR pieces of irridescent fabric to make the upper wings.
