This assessment has been undertaken in accordance with the Australian Standard 3959- 2009 Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Areas (AS3959-2009). In accordance with Section 2.2.3 of AS3959-2009 Low Threat Vegetation occurs where the vegetation is one or a combination of the following: a) Vegetation of any type that is more than 100m from the site. b) Single areas of vegetation less than 1ha in area and not within 100m of other areas of vegetation being classified. c) Multiple areas of vegetation less than 0.25 in area and not within 20m of the site, or each other. d) Strips of vegetation less than 20m in width (measured perpendicular to the elevation exposed to the strip of vegetation) regardless of length and not within 20m of the site or each other, or other areas of vegetation being classified. e) Non-vegetated areas, including waterways, roads, footpaths, buildings and rocky outcrops BALLOW Applies to Low Threat Vegetation. Land within 100m of Stage 2 will be managed as an Inner Protection Area (IPA) until such time that development occurs on this land. Therefore, no vegetation considered a bushfire hazard occurs within 100m of the site.
