Fire is an effective, inexpensive, and universally available weapon increasingly used by terrorists and violent criminals.

Inadvertent vehicle and structural fires are also common occurrences on and off the battlefield. However, military and

law enforcement professionals rarely train on how to survive even rudimentary fire-related events. Our Fire Survival

Services are the first and only certifying training programs that introduce the fundamentals of fire rescue into security

operations, in order to prepare individuals and teams to successfully deal with environments that involve fire and

fire-related hazards.

All Fire Survival Services coursework is conducted in our state-of-the-art, live-burn training facilities. The Fire Survival

Services are taught by active duty experts from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and overseen by former US

Special Operations personnel. Our goal is to provide military and law enforcement personnel with realistic and

challenging training in order to prepare them to face deadly fire-related environments in buildings and vehicles.

Through exercises that safely incorporate fire and smoke, the Fire Survival Services give each student extensive

hands-on experience inside live burning structures. Students and teams are afforded opportunities to establish tactics,

techniques, and procedures (TTPs) specific to their operational specialties. All learning materials and training equipment

will be provided by GRA Maven, however students are also encouraged to bring their own issued equipment to

incorporate into training.

“ This training should be mandatory.

I’ve encountered a few building

fires during combat missions and

would have certainly made

better decisions had I

attended the FOC beforehand.”

Daniel, U.S. Army Special Operations
