• HOSPITALS WERE CROWN PREMISES UNTIL 1991
• HOWEVER REGULATORY REFORM (Fire Safety) 2005 APPLIES

• SOME CODES ARE A GREATER STANDARD THAN THE FIRE AUTHORITY WOULD REQUIRE

• DON’T FORGET THE ROLL CALL AT
THE ASSEMBLY POINT

THE FIRE ALARM BY BREAKING THE
GLASS AT THE CALL POINT.

Fire Statistics
• In 2007 / 2008 more people died from fires
in there own homes than from acts of
violence.
• Of the people that died in domestic fires
90% did not have a smoke detector
working in their home.
