SAFETY HI - TECH® is a technology leader in fire extinguishing systems and our mission is to
secure the safety of personnel and property with each of our systems. Safety Hi-Tech serves
on multiple international standards committees such as NFPA 2001, ISO, UN, CEN and ISO
illustrating our commitment to furthering codes, standards and safety around the world.
Fire Suppression SystemsNAF S 125® and NAF S 227® are patented total flooding agents, both of which are approved for use in normally occupied spaces by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and included on the US EPA SNAP list. Both NAF S 125® and NAF S 227® are “clean agents”, that is they are electrically non-conductive and leave no post discharge residue and are suitable for Class A, B and C fires. In addition to their core components (HFC-125 and HFC-227 respectively) our NAF S 125® and NAF S 227® agents include a patented additive that both reduces the products of combustion and decomposition as well as improves the fire extinguishing performance.
Our NAFS 125® and NAFS 227® systems are designed with maximum quality, reliability and safety. But you don’t need to take our word for it as NAF S 125® and NAF S 227® systems are tested and approved by internationally recognized testing laboratories such as: Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and Det Norkse Vertias (DNV) for marine applications.

Safety to Humans Recommended for use in manned
are as per EPA rule
Recommended for use in manned
are as per EPA rule provided that
oxygen levels are not under any
circumstances below 10% and there
is no more than 5% Co2 in the agent
discharged area.
Recommended for use in manned are as
per EPA rule provided that the design
conc. Is below or equal to 11.5%
Though the agent has been tested
for exposure to humans in Labs, the
following points to be noted:
a. During actual fire condition, the
Co2 levels in the area shall much
higher than than the ones designed,
due to the fuel burning emitting Co2
b.During actual fire condition, carbon
Monoxide shall be released, and the
effects of which are more dangerous
than Co2. Due to higher respiration
rate in inergen atmosphere &
inhalation of more carbon monoxide
causes the adverse effect to the
human.
