Deireadh-sheachdain Teaghlaich
Bha an sgoil gu math trang air deireadh-sheachdain an t-Sultain le tòrr thachartasan do chlann òga.
Tha sinn toilichte gu bheil ar sgoilearan as sine a’ faighinn cothrom a bhith an sàs le bhith a’ toirt taic
dhan seo oir ‘s e cothrom air leth a th’ ann dhaibh son eòlas-obrach is na sgilean aca a leasachadh.
We had a very successful and busy September learning weekend with over 50 families attending. We
had 16 playleaders and 5 volunteers running the children’s activities from arts and craft to adventures
in the woodland gardens. The following playleaders worked with us - former pupils Chloe Jenkins,
Fiona MacIntyre, Allan Maxwell, Lindsay Stark, Iona Whyte, Iona MacKay, Eilish Brown, Lewis Miller
and Adam Smith. Current pupils from our senior school also participated – Robert Took, Caragh
MacKinnon, Thomas Kennedy, Steven Mallon, Fionn Whyte, Anna Matheson, Joanna MacDougal and
Fergus O’Hanlon with support from the following volunteers Eilidh Miller, Siobhan Brady, Mairi
MacDonald, Fraser Brown and Euan MacIntyre. This event provided a great opportunity for the
families to learn but also gives the playleaders and volunteers training and work experience.
Great Scottish Run
Meal a naidheachd air na sgoilearan a ghabh pàirt on bhun-sgoil Dihaoine, an àrd-sgoil Disathairne is on

Well done to all participants in the Great Scottish Run from Primary, Secondary and staff.

an co-dhùnadh ceart air an ochdadh latha deugh dhen t-Sultain?’
Pupils at Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu had an excellent opportunity to be in the audience of Ri Chèile, the
Scottish/Irish speech competition held this year in the school. A wide range of topics and subjects
were included in the speeches with pupils listening earnestly to see if they could pick up any of the
Irish Gaelic words during their presentations.
