FINGERPRINT PADSFingerprint pads are available in Porelon® and semi-inkless versions. Since these pads eliminate the need for tubes of ink, rollers, inking slabs, and cleaners, they are extremely useful in the field when taking both slap and rolled impressions for elimination prints at a crime scene, prints from children safety fairs, prints for employment, and security clearances.

CRP PORELON® FINGERPRINTING PADSOur Porelon® pads will take thousands of fingerprints and are always ready for use. The stored ink rises to the surface of the microreticulated thermoplastic resin pad by means of capillary action. The non-toxic, non-fading permanent ultra-black ink dries in seconds on all types of cards. Available in pocket and desktop versions with hinged covers.

CRP SEMI-INKLESS FINGERPRINT PADSOur series of semi-inkless pads contain a polyethylene micron plastic pad which is impregnated with a non-toxic, non-fading permanent black fingerprint ink that dries instantaneously. The pads are used around

the world by governments, law enforcement agencies, banks, investment firms, and hospitals. The ink is easily removed by simply rubbing the fingers together or wiping with a dry tissue.

DISPOSABLE FINGERPRINTING INKING SHEETSThese pre-inked sheets consist of two .010” acetate sheets that sandwich a thin, even layer of fingerprint ink. To use the pre-inked sheets, simply peel back the top sheet of acetate to expose the ink. Resting the sheet on a smooth, flat surface, roll the subject’s finger(s) on the bottom sheet and record the prints as you would using any other inking system. The black ink is quick drying and quickly absorbs into any type of record card.

INKLESS FINGERPRINTING SYSTEM

True inkless fingerprinting can be achieved by using this two-step system. This system produces high-contrast black fingerprints on any type of 8” x 8” record card. Prints taken with this system are accepted by the FBI for classification, search, and retention.

Operation is simple, straightforward, and clean. First, roll the subject’s fingers on the built-in pad which is impregnated with a clear liquid that adheres to the subject’s fingers. Following standard procedure, roll the subject’s fingers on the

record card. Second, place the card into the built-in developing chamber, wait 45 seconds, then remove the developed fingerprint card.

This portable system is especially useful in obtaining prints for background checks from people applying for employment with government agencies, security companies, investment firms, hospitals, and banks. Since no “ink” is used in the process, no clean-up of the subject’s hands is necessary.

TABLETOP FINGERPRINTING STATIONSThis series of Tabletop Fingerprinting Stations are made of wood covered with a tough, easy to clean, black laminate.
