The view depicts one of the byways of Brown County, Indiana. Baumann moved here in 1910, and remained for the next eight years. One signed in pencil, five with the artists red owl stamp, most monogrammed and/or inscribed within the plate, many annotated in the lower margin. Etchings on paper, plate sizes to 6 x 4 1/4 in. (15.2 x 10.9 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Most gently toned and with hinges to verso, several are light-struck. $1,500-2,000 24.
