DESCRIPTION

The September 9, 2011 Prints auction in Boston will include a broad grouping of fine prints, photography, and multiples spanning works from old masters to contemporary artists. Etchings range from Rembrandt to James Abbott MacNeill Whistler, Frank Benson and Frank Stella; lithographs range from Grant Wood to Pablo Picasso to Andy Warhol; and photographs by Ansel Adams, Aaron Siskind and Manuel Alvarez Bravo are included. This will be the first print auction to feature its own independent catalogue.
