Pharmacy RXElecting medical coverageautomatically enrolls you intothe corresponding Rx planthrough CVS Caremark. Pleasenote, CVS Caremark providescomprehensive coveragethrough all local pharmacies,not just CVS.

You will receive a new card!

· All BCBS medical plans willalso now include marriage andfamily counseling.

· The telemedicine benefit,administered by MDLive, willnow include Talk Therapy. Youcan now speak with a licensedcounselor, therapist orpsychiatrist for telephonic andvideo chat support via MDLive.

· We are changing ourEmployee Assistance Program(EAP) provider which will allowus a better network of licensedcounselors. We still offer 6 freesessions per issue per familymember.

Mental Health Medical UpdatePer IRS rules, the CDHP plandeductibles have moved from1,350 to 1,400 and 2,700 to2,800. The out-of-pocketmaximums have also increasedon these plans. The PPOdeductible has moved from800 to 1,000 to align betterwith local districts.

During open enrollment, you can make a decision to supportLEEF through a payroll contribution. Just elect the amount youwant to contribute every paycheck to LEEF and deductions willbegin in January. Your tax-deductible contribution can be $1 ormore per pay period. You can change this amount at any time.

Please consider joining your colleagues enrolled in the EmployeeGiving Program and directly impact your district. As little as $2per month from every Leander ISD staff member would provide$120,000 in support to our classrooms and students!

Health Savings Account (HSA) participation gives youaccess to a personal savings account. You and LISDcan make pretax contributions into your HSA. Thefunds in your HSA are yours to spend on your medicalcare as you see fit, to help cover the cost of expensesincurred that your medical plan does not cover, suchas deductibles and co-pays.  CDHP 1400 and CDHP2800 are eligible plans.

Leander ISD contributes $42/month towardsemployees’ HSA account.
