Scholarships and Bursaries
• Scholarships– GPA 3.5– Completed 12 Douglas Credits– Winter application
• Bursaries– GPA 2.0– Based on financial need– Fall, Winter and Summer applications
– On-line applications are open for one month at the beginning of each semester under Financial Aid on the Douglas website.

• Full-time– 9 or more academic credits– On-line application at www.studentaidbc.ca – Loan and grant
• Part-time– 3 to 8.5 academic credits– Paper application– Loan and grant
• ABESAP– ENGU, MATU and ESL courses– Paper application– Grant
Emergency Loans
• Emergency loans may be available to students who experience unusual delays in receiving their student loan funding
Fee Deferrals
• Fee deferrals are available to students who have been approved for student loan funding
• Allows payment past fee payment deadline while waiting for student loan funding to arrive
