*From Oct. 2009 to Sep.2015: Worked as a clinical chemistry analyst in a number of clinical labs in Egypt. Was the manager of a branch in three of the labs; performed an analysis of different blood components, including proteins, enzymes, hormones, viruses, elements and blood cells using different analytical techniques such as ELISA and PCR; worked as a Phlebotomist. Was able to work in harmony with the other members of lab to deliver the accurate results in time with ability to handle the different problems we used to face during our work.

Career History

Employer: The National center for radiation research and technology (NCRRT)/Egyptian atomic energy authority, Cairo, Egypt.

Position Research Assistant (Chemistry). Dates: May 2012 – now. I worked in the molecular biology lab with concentrating on the synthesis and modification of polymers and bioactive glasses for the biomedical applications *Carried out my master research experiments focusing on the application of radiation in preparing of biopolymers-based new wound dressings with the biomedical engineering principles. *Characterized the physicochemical properties of polymers and the different prepared hydrogels using SEM, TEM, GC, XRD, FTIR and UV spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopic techniques. *Demonstrated the efficacy of the designed dressings in vitro and in vivo with molecular biology as well as histological techniques. *Extracted, purified, and modified number of biopolymers with chemical and radiation methods in addition to the bioactive glass synthesis, modification and characterization. *Synthesized number of biomaterial-based composites in the form of hydrogels and rigid structures using Chemical and physical methods. *Shared in the organisation of scientific training courses in molecular biology between the NCRRT and the Middle Eastern Regional Radioisotope Centre for the Arab Countries, Giza, Egypt.

Employer: Nile Scan and labs, Giza, Egypt& Royal lab-Clinical Labs, Giza, Egypt& Cairo Scan-clinical Labs, Cairo, Egypt& Sanaa Abdel-shafy -Clinical Labs, Giza, Egypt.

Position Clinical Chemistry Analyst. Dates: Oct 2009 – Sept 2015. *Performed the analysis of different blood components including proteins, enzymes, hormones, viruses, elements and blood cells using different analytical techniques such as ELISA and PCR. *Worked as a Phlebotomist. *Was the manager of number of branches for facilitating the connection with the other branches in each lab, deliver the results in time and resolve any problems in the branch. Employer: Matrix for Scientific Services, Cairo, Egypt. Position Chemist for Water Analysis. Dates: June 2010 - Jan 2011. *Performed different tests for the analysis and detection of different elements in all water and soil types, and their concentrations. *Was responsible for the sampling, visited a number of international companies factories and understood the nature of their work, organization, and how the quality requirements and safety precautions are applied.
