Mercy’s “Best Shot for Youth” program helps underwrite free sports physicals for girls and boys and also supports projects such as the renovation of the Study Center at Riverton and the rehabilitation of outdoor basketball courts such as those in Windham and Kennedy Park.

Share Our Strength is a national nonprofit organization that finds childhood hunger where it hides and works through a network of community groups, activists and food programs to reach hungry children. The Preble Street Teen Center, The Good Shepherd Food Bank, Cul-tivating Community and Opportunity Alliance are examples of SOS partner organizations.
