Overview: Trinity Rep Endowment 1963: Theater established 1963-1999: Endowment fund (interest-bearing bank account) stands at $500,000 in 1999 1999: Received grant includes $750,000 challenge grant from Doris Duke Foundation; matching funds raised from: Individual donors via endowment campaign (letters and personal asks) My Fair Milton event (April 2000) honoring founding board member Milton Stanzler Stanzler Society established to honor donors to the endowment 2001: Endowment moved to Rhode Island Foundation 2006: Trinity Repertory Company Board of Trustees establishes formal bequest acceptance policy 2010: Public Launch of Theater for Every Generation Campaign 2011-2014: Renewed Legacy Giving Program results in $1.8M in newly documented planned gifts, increased cash giving to endowment, and completion/establishment of four named funds 11/6/20142 Renewal & Growth: Legacy Giving at Trinity Repertory Company

Current Legacy Societies Definitions and Benefits Endowment Society Who: Donors to the Endowment Fund Levels of Membership and Benefits: Temporary donors with 1-4 years of endowment giving, under $10,000 Invitation to annual Legacy event Legacy Report Listing in show programs Permanent donors with 5+ years of endowment giving OR $10,000 or more total giving receive the benefits listed above, plus: Listing on our web site and at legacy events. Legacy Society Lapel Pin Individually named funds may be established within Trinity Reps endowment with single or collective gifts totaling at least $10,000.
