DISSEMINATION: DIDACTIC WORK WITH LOCAL SCHOOL

The CB has organized, in collaboration with AB, several educational visits at the site of installation of the prototype, both with local schools (elementary and secondary) and with master students. During the visits, the BIOSUR the project was illustrated, with particular reference to the expected results. Local school children were informed about the process and how the microorganisms that grow in the bioreactor are able to remove odours. Master and bachelor students were informed more deeply about the treatment process and the innovative differences with similar technologies. The list of the organized visits are shown in the following table.

More than 450 visitors have participated to the visits of the prototype. Furthermore, from January 2014 to date, the prototype was presented to several small delegations visiting the Cuoiodepur’s WWTP, for commercial, technical or institutional visits or meetings, coming not only from Italy, but also from European and extra Europe countries.

DISSEMINATION: GUIDE BOOK

It is an instrument full of information about the BIOSUR LIFE project; different from a typical “Guide book”, generally referred to a book full of details about places, designed for the use of visitors or tourists. In this case we developed a guide with the aim of providing a friendly-user instrument in which are described the mostly important things about our project:

WHO we are; WHY this project was born; WHERE the prototype is situated; The FEATURES of the reactor; HOW it’s work; the MANAGEMENT and the MONITORING plan; a biology CHARACTERIZATION of the biomass; the EFFICIENCY and the EFFECTIVENESS of the processes; some PRESENTATIONS of conferences; the VIDEO we made; some PICTURES.

This guide has been produced with the program called "AutoPlay Media Studio 8 Professional"; which allowed to create in very handy interactive CD that immediately extract the required information with few clicks, as the pictures below shown.
