the project:In general the project is a transportation building , it is to design main train station for the capital city of Saudi Arabia,Riyadh.

in the beginning we have to know how many project of railway in saudi arabia and if it connect with the capital city. then some information about the old train station in Riyadh.

Starting in the northwestern region of the Kingdom, this line passes through Al-Jouf, Hail and Al-Qassim regions and terminates in Riyadh with extensions to Hazm Al-Jalamid to haul phosphate, and to Al-Zubayrah to haul bauxite, and to Ras Al-Zour on the Gulf where a major port will be constructed to export these and other mineral ores. In

order that the Saudi Council of Ministers adopted the resolution of the incorporation of the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) in 1426 which shall be in charge of the management and operation of the North- south rail as well as the services and relevant utilities, operation and management and supervision, directly or through others in

accordance with economics operating standards and according to standards of performance and safety. The company shall also undertake the establishment, implementation, management, operation and supervision of the railways projects in addition to the transport of mining materials, raw materials, fuel, cargo and passengers.

Also the company's capital is estimated to be one billion Saudi Riyals divided into 100 million shares of equal value where the nominal value is ten riyals per share. The extraordinary General Assembly may, however, to put all shares of the company or part of them for subscription.

the project:

1-study design train station in Riyadh for a reason weakness project, which will be held so as to several

factors, including:

       -Similarity to the rest of the station design urban stations in all respects

       -Not taking into account the expansion of design projects which will be held

       -Not CONSIDER to connect to the rest of the railway station

2-the need to study the train station to be the Landmark and different from the rest of the stations for

being the capital

3-examine the need for the station there to be able to be connected to the rest of the cities and expanded as

needed

4-examine elements of the station and the activities to be compatible with the needs and characteristics of

the surrounding area

5-overwhelming interest in mass transit and transportation

about them an information and we studied its location , how it designed , master plans , site , how they group the

buildings , the circulation in every campus , the plans for every building , sections and how it effected by its location .

-One of the famous architecture designed this project especially he has a lot of train station projects

- Reggio Emilia Railway Station (Italy)

-Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport train station (France) , and more.

-He is an architecture and civil so he integrated both in his projects.

2-Logroño railway station (Spain)

-the description of this project is how to include the train station in the middle of the city by planning

it to get acceptance from the public , garden above the platform , green building .

Belgium. It is one of the most important hubs in the country and is one of the 3 Belgian stations on the high-speed rail network. The station is used by 15,000 people every day which makes it the eleventh busiest station in Belgium and the third in Wallonia.

LOGROÑO RAILWAY STATION• Logroño Railway Station (IATA: LGV) is the central railway station of Logroño, Spain. Commonly referred

locally as the RENFE station, the station is part of Adif and high-speed rail systems.

• The station accommodates RENFE long-distance and medium-distance trains (AVE). A 55 km (34 mi) high-speed spur leaves the Valladolid–Vitoria-Gasteiz extension of the Madrid–Valladolid high-speed rail line at Miranda de Ebro and continues to Logroño.
