Welcome to the SU-MEET

October 30th, 2019

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of FEMOZA (World Free and Special Economic Zones Federation), in partnership with

UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and with the full support of many

International institutions, we are proud and happy to welcoming you to THE SU-MEET: World Free &

Special Economic Zones Summit, the only World Hub where Free & Special Economic Zones from all

over the World meet Investors and Partners.

Over recent decades and in many countries, FDI investment projects have increasingly chosen to

locate within Free & Special Economic Zones as the prime choice, because these zones offer technical

comfort and security, along with infrastructures, services, economies of scale and incentives.

Free & Special Economic Zones are the optimal facilitator for the implementation of FDI projects.

The topics lined up for THE SU-MEET are aimed to evolve into solutions for key current issues of

development. The past, present and future of Free & Special Economic Zones are considered under a

single regime, though we shall showcase several successful Zone systems. Leading authorities will share

their experience as Free Zone developers or investors, and operators will share best practice in

attracting FDI to Zones.

Critical points for the future of global Logistics and Distribution are the ONE BELT ONE ROAD

initiative as well as Import & Export Logistic Hubs. The future continues to be driven by technology and

Smart Cities where firms apply Blockchain asset recording. Zone management today must integrate

green working environments and flexible labor standards that can accommodate technology transfer.

The investment funding of zones raises a wide spectrum of public and private sources, and these topics

will be covered by recognized keynote speakers.

Our objective is to set a high level and thereby welcoming a small but extremely professional

audience, able both to contribute to the event and to benefit from its high level networking

opportunities. The topics selected will highlight a range of economic sectors and, through skilled

performance by engaging speakers and specialist lectures, produce a summit conference through which

participants will achieve networking and management advantages to

pursue their own businesses goals.

The Summit is completed with the networking and business

opportunities to organize B2B and B2G meetings throughout the

whole event with a full morning dedicated only to this activity. A

selected panel of investors has been invited to attend and fix 1to1

meetings with participants.

It is therefore my pleasure to invite you exploit the Su-Meet to

showcase your Zone and meet your future investors and partners

getting in the Free Zones Community that helps you to reach the

success in your business.

Kindly accept my best personal regards!

Yours faithfully,

Juan Torrents

FEMOZA President
