Hey girls hope your all okay!

All= Hiya!

H= We’re all very well thankyou!

So then girls, how did you all come together as

a band?

S = Well we met eachother at school in 2001, and

over the years we all became a really close group

of friends. We then discovered we could all sing and

thought we’d continue as far as we could with it.

We then started performing in little pubs infront ofaround 50 people, people uploaded videos of us on

you tube and then famous artists like Little Mix and J

Cole were asking to meet the band. Then things just

took off from there.

N= We never expected to be this successful, it’s like

a dream come true!

Thats amazing! So when did you realize music

was what you wanted to do?

H= I’ve always been interested in music and singing

since I was about 5, I attended singing classes from

the age of 9, but stopped when I started at secondary

school. So it’s a good job I met the girls otherwise I

wouldn’t be here now!

B= I only realized it was what I wanted to do when me

and the girls spoke about going on the X-Factor a fewyears back.

Did you end up auditioning for X-Factor in the

end?

N= Nope, because after getting so many hits on

youtube with our singing and meeting J Cole and

Little Mix I suppose things just became abit busy, and

we never ended up getting round to it

Is there anything any of you would change from

your past?

H= Nope, I believe that everything thats ever hap-

pened in the past, makes you who you are today. So if

I changed anything then I wouldn’t be here today!

uk’s top 40!’’. We hope that we’ll be able to go on tour

around the UK and bring out more and more sings

to keep our fans entertained. We ovbiously still see

ourselves as a group together and we’ve just got to

keep going and try our hardest!

Do you still get nervous before performing?

S= When it’s infront of thousands of people it is a

bit nail biting but I suppose we’ve just got used to it

now, you learn to block out all the people which helps

you concerntrate more on singing. But the rst fewtimes I felt sick with nerves.

B= I do get a bit nervous when entering the stage but

as soon as we hear the fans shouting us I’m ne!

What advise would you give to beginers?

S=I normally have a cup of tea before each perfor-

mance and just relax. The more you think about it the

more it will make you nervous. The best thing to do is

keep your mind of it!

H= As long as you’ve practised loads and know all

you’re lyrics you have nothing to worry about!

N=When I’m on stage i think to myself that nobodys

watching me and I’m just in my bedroom singing on

my own, it keeps my nerves down infront of large

crowds.

Any messages to the fans?

B=Just want to say a big thankyou to everyone who

has been supporting us. DONT GIVE UP IF SINGING IS

WHAT YOU ENJOY!

H= Anyone can make their dreams come true, you

 just need patience and motivation!

RHYTHMIX  THE RISING STARS!

Kirsty Allen interviews the rising stars girl band - Rythmix!

She nds out about their pasts, and what their plans for the future are. The girls speak out about their friendship and give advice for new beginers.

So we all know your new album comes out on

the 8th March, are you all excited for it?

B= Extremely excited! it doesnt feel real. To think

that we have fans out there that are actually going

to buy our music is such an amazing feeling. We just

hope we can become as famous as other bands!

Ovbiouusly we’ve heard ourselves singing before but

it’s always been acoustic, so to hear ourselves with

our very own music too, is just going to be like wow!

N= It’s just crazy to think we were just your average

group of girls a few years ago!

‘‘ITS JUST CRAZY TO

THINK WE WERE JUST

YOUR AVERAGE GROUP

OF GIRLS A FEW YEARS

AGO!’’What would you say makes your group unique

to other girl bands?

H= Well I think anybody would agree that we’re bub-

bly and condent, which is a crutal charactistic thatis needed to be successful. Alot of girl bands have

been successful like Sugarbabes, Destinys Child,

Littlemix and Atomic Kitten, so it gives us motivation

to be as successful as them.

S= We spend so much time together and are such

close friends so we nd ourselves singing whenwe’re together without even noticing. We all have

unique voices and we feel as if we have a different

style then previous girl bands.

Where do you see yourselves in 3 years?

N= My dream would be to be turning on the radio and

hearing ‘Rythmix have made it to number one on the
