Dear Supporters:

Welcome to the beautiful Brierwood Country Club for our 12th Annual Drive Against Drugs. Thank you so much for your support of WNY United and its programs.

As an agency, we partner with high-risk schools to bring themprogramming that improves students’ emotional and social competencies, reduces negative behaviors and promotes positive and healthy life choices. Our partnerships work to ensure these children are given a fair opportunity to learn the skills necessary to achieve personal and academic success.

With the risks currently present in our community, we need your support now more than ever to continue providing programs that work on creative and comprehensive solutions to problems caused by alcohol and other drug abuse.

We are proud of the work we do, of our staff that delivers it and of our students and schools that remain committed to these efforts to improve. Thank you to everyone who supports our work: donors, sponsors, Board Members, school administrators, teachers, students; and especially you, our golfers. Without you and your generosity, we could not accomplish our mission.

I must also give a special thank you to the Golf Committee and their tireless efforts in ensuring today’s success. We hope you enjoy your time on the course and that you will join us for many years to come.

Dear Friends:

On behalf of the WNY United Against Drug & Alcohol Abuse Foundation Board of Directors and Tournament Committee, we would like to welcome you to the 12th Annual Drive Against Drugs Golf Tournament.

The tournament honors the legacy of the late Robert E. Rich, founder of Rich Products Corporation, who was an avid golfer. Mr. Rich’s generosity and energy left an indelible mark on Western New York’s charitable organizations, including WNY United.

For 30 years, WNY United Against Drug & Alcohol Abuse has been providing Western New York with research based substance abuse prevention programming. These programs give local kids the tools they need to make the right decision when confronted with alcohol, tobacco and other dangerous drugs.

This tournament would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. In addition we want to thank everyone for joining us for a day of golf for a great cause.

We are proud to represent this organization and spread the good news of their efforts. The organization has seen a lot of growth over the past 30 years and we are looking forward to many more successful years with your help.
