‘The Heist’

Concept

Our final concept has been set as a ‘heist’. . The idea originated on the concept of a high-profile bank heist with characters, donning suits, guns and ski masks, attempting (poorly) to loot a vault. In the process the attempt is riddled with mistakes as a result of apparent poor planning for a hopefully comic effect. The idea progressed to take inspiration of a more the British panache of the likes of Lock Stock and Smoking barrel and Snatch. All in all the idea now sits on the setting of a small group of youths who all find themselves in financial difficulty, so agree to pull off a heist on a local business. This idea as a whole was agreed to be more realistic for both in terms of the viewing experience and the production.
