Aviation one-stop service

• Northstar Ferry Service was formed by a group of four highly experienced airline pilots. We have a large database of flight crews worldwide. Offering ab-initio training, tailored airbus and Boeing type rating courses, recurrent training, ferry service and flight crew placement.

• With an extensive airline background, our company is structured to offer airline startups which include recruitment of aircrew staff, training, building S.O.Ps, line training and line flying.

• Training from the ab initio is offered with Sunrise aviation in Florida and type ratings at RTC.com Florida. We are currently exploring new partnerships with training schools in Canada and Jamaica.

• We offer test flights and deliver of aircraft for airlines, leasing companies and MROs.

• Aircraft procurement in corporation with a leasing company.

Looking Forward

• Northstar Ferry Service is in the process of planning to be the one- stop shop aviation company. We have in place flying schools which offer training for ab-Initio students to commercial licensing and simulator programs for type ratings. The vast experience of our team makes it easy to hire and train pilots. Being pilots ourselves brings the trust that helps find the most qualified pilots in the world.

• We offer aircraft procurement in corporation with a leasing company with whom we have an already established relationship.

Meet the team

Captain Ian Davies Director of Operations

Captain Davies started his airline career with Manx Airlines in the UK. He spent seventeen years with Emirates Airlines flying all their wide body aircraft as Captain, A310, A330, A340 and A380. Upon his retirement from Emirates he joined Fiji Airways and later Vietnam Airlines. Captain Davies totals over 9,000 hours PIC on Airbus wide body aircraft. He is current on the A330 with over 4,000 hours PIC on the type. He is a highly qualified and experienced Airbus Captain with worldwide experience.

Captain Barry GrenvilleCaptain Grenville joined Air Canadain 1979. He first flew all the aircraft in the fleet as first officer. He c o n t i n u e d h is p r o g r e s s i o n successively flying the A320, B767, B777, A330 and A340 as Captain.Accumulating 25000hrs of world wide experience, Captain Grenville joined Arik Air as an A330/340 captain. He has training experience on all types of aircraft.

Captain Brian Boucher Flight standards Manager

Meet the teamCaptain Boucher has accumulated a total of over 19,000 hours. He started his airline career at Air Canada on the B727 in 1979. Over the course of his employment with the airline, he had the opportunity to successively fly the B727, B767 and A320 as first officer. He was promoted to Captain on the CRJ, A320 and A330/A340 families. He retired on the A330/340 in 2006. He gained international experience with Virgin America, Kingfisher Airlines and Arik Air. He was with Arik until 2015, when he retired as the airline’s Airbus fleet manager. He is currently with Airbus at their Miami Training Center as an instructor.

Started his airline career in 1994 with Moxwood in Durban, South Africa as their company pilot, Captain Scott then went on to manage aircraft for individual owners as well as companies providing both management and flying services. He flew for The United Nations in Angola andD.R.C. before returning to his Native country Zimbabwe to fly business Jets for Breco Aviation. Captain Scott then joined M.K. cargo flying DC8’s on their worldwide network. In 2006 Capt. Scott joined Air Mauritius on their A340/330 fleets where he worked until 2011. Joining Air Asia, low-cost airline in late 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia he worked for two years on the A320 before joining Air Asia X on the A330.

Chief Pilot

Currently Captain Scott is Captain at Vietnam Airlines on the A330 where due to their commuting roster he has time to explore more business options. To date he has over 16 years of aviation experience having logged 13000 hours. Captain Scott also has experience in founding and managing various businesses.

Achievements and Projects

We have completed a start-up A330 operation in Africa including procuring the aircraft, hiring and training crew, Building the SOPs, planning simulator and line training and Fleet manager at Arik air.To date we have delivered numerous types of aircraft and are in negotiations with some major manufacturers and various airlines to deliver new aircraft.In our group we have experience with pilot recruitment with Kingfisher

Airlines and Arik Air. Other skills offered are check pilot, T.R.E. (type rated examiner) as well as being part of Initial Cadre pilot start-up airline operations in San Francisco with Virgin America.Flight instructor pilot services Miami Airbus and vetting of applications and curriculum vitae for future manage pilot instructor positions in the Americas.Currently we are in talks with airline to start A320 operations
