major financial parameters with a sales turnover of US$ 27.22 billion.

RIL is India’s largest exporter with exports constituting nearly 56% of

its revenues. It straddles various sectors like oil & gas, refining,

petrochemicals, polymers, polyesters, chemical intermediaries,

textiles, organised retail and SEZs. Since 2004, RIL is the first and

only private sector company from India to feature in the Fortune

Global 500 list of the ‘World’s Largest Corporations’. It ranks amongst

If it can be imagined, Reliance Polymers can help convert it into a business success. That’s ideation. And Repol Polypropylene, with its versatility, does just that – providing new cost-effective applications, across various sectors, through innovation, customisation and material substitution.

As the 7th largest manufacturer of Polypropylene in the world, Reliance Polymers offers a wide range of Repol Homopolymer, Random and Impact Copolymer grades. With a capacity of around 1.8 MMT per annum and an expansion plan of 900 KT by 2009, the scope for new applications is infinite.

Repol Homopolymer grades are available in a wide range of melt flows and molecular weight distribution, and are used extensively in flexible applications for commodity and industrial packaging (TQPP/BOPP/cast films and woven fabric). Special grades are also available for fibres and filaments, extrusion, blow moulding and injection moulding applications.

Repol Random Copolymers, with improved strength and excellent contact clarity, are available for plumbing pipes, sheets and blow moulding applications.

Repol Customised Impact Copolymers are available in a diverse range of impact strengths and melt flows to suit the needs of injection moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, extrusion coating and compounding.

I N F I N I T E P R O T E C T I O N“A GROWING NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE DEMANDING PROCESSED FOODS THAT ARE SAFER AND BETTER. IN THAT AREA, PLASTIC HAS A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE TO PLAY.”

If it is essential for life, Reliance Polymers helps keep it safe. That’s

protection. And Relene Polyethylene, with its variety of secure

applications, does just that – ensuring maximum protection of

everything that matters.

Reliance Polymers offers the entire range of Relene Polyethylene viz.,

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Linear Low Density Polyethylene

(LLDPE) and Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) with a combined

capacity of 1.1 MMT per annum. Octene and Butene grades are used in

specialty films and various flexible packaging applications. Reliance

Polymers is one of the six producers of Octene grade in the world.

Relene HDPE is available in a wide range of densities and melt flows to

match demanding applications like high-pressure pipes, telecom ducts,

carrier bags, woven sacks, caps, closures, injection and blow moulded

products.

Relene LLDPE finds extensive applications in milk and edible oil

packaging, extrusion coating, lamination films, cast films, stretch films,

specialty films, rotomoulding and injection moulding.

Relene LDPE finds uses in heavy-duty films, lamination films, extrusion

coating and moulding applications.

I N F I N I T E P R E S E R V A T I O N“AT RELIANCE, WE BELIEVE THAT A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT IN AND AROUND THE WORKPLACE FOSTERS HEALTH AND PROSPERITY FOR THE INDIVIDUAL, THE GROUP AND THE LARGER COMMUNITY TO WHICH THEY BELONG.”

If it’s natural and invaluable, Reliance Polymers can help conserve it.

That’s preservation. And Reon PVC does just that – protecting our

natural resources and life itself – by being the ideal substitute for

traditional materials used in agriculture, construction and healthcare.

Reliance Polymers is India’s largest manufacturer of suspension grade

Polyvinyl Chloride, with a capacity of 625 KT per annum across a wide

range of viscosities.

Typical applications for Reon PVC include rigid pipes and fittings,

flexible tubes, hoses, doors, windows, partitions, floor/wall

coverings, wires, cables, electrical conduits and fittings,

blood bags, tubing, heart catheters, IV fluid bags, toys, sports

goods and footwear.
