COMPANY PROFILE

In the year 1962 Messrs. JOH. JAC. VOWINCKELGMBH acting as the first and eldest enterprise on thisfield of application started with the production of filterelements made of polyoleofins. Until today filter platesmanufactured at this time are still in operation.

In 1982 JVK took over production equipment and know-how for manufacturing of filter elements from Messrs.Joh. Jac. Vowinckel GmbH.

In 1989 JVK purchased competitor HANSEN BTR.Membrane chamber plates with exchangeable rubbermembranes completed now the JVK product line.

In 1992 JVK increased the production capacity by takingover the production facilities for filter plates from a wellknown manufacturer of filter presses.

JVK is offering since almost 45 years highest technicalstandard and know-how as well as long experience inthermoplastic processing and solid-liquid-separation.

JVK is one of the biggest private enterprises manufacturingfilter elements from thermoplastics and other materialswhich are well known and successfully used worldwide.

Equipment and machines on high technical standard forthe production of filter elements according to DIN 7129and for special designs in thermoplastics and othermaterials are available:

Presses for production of filter plates according to theICM – process which was developed by JVK up to sizesof 2500 x 3000 mm and to a thickness of 200 mm withthe following advantages:

· Homogenous material, one piece mouldedwithout welded connections and inserts

· Minimal thermal load during production· Uniform distribution of microcrystallites· Slightest internal tensions· Excellent mechanical properties· Chemical resistance

CNC routers up to a size of 2500 x 3000 mm for themechanical treatment grant maximum accuracy for smalland large series production.

Workshop for advanced mould construction.

Construction Department equipped with 3D- CAD - system.

Research and Development Department as well asQuality Laboratory guarantee and ensure continousdevelopment and quality of the JVK products.

For sewage water filtration conditioned by polymersoutlet ports with large diameter for easy drain off.

For filtration of organic solvents and for hightemperature filtration we recommend as materialaluminium or PVDF instead of polypropylen.
